The Royal Family of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Partners With ICL Students in
Peace Education Program
NEW YORK, Sept. 3 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- What would make four Manhattan
high school students visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during their summer
vacation? An invitation from HRH Princess Reema Bandar, daughter of Prince
Bandar bin Sultan.

The Institute for Civic Leadership at The Dwight School (IB World School in
New York City) has developed an educational and service partnership with
Princess Reema Bandar. In an effort to foster world peace and cultural
understanding, we are building non-political relationships between U.S. and
Saudi students to forge peace education programs with the next generation and
partner in community service projects (i.e. build schools, homes, wells, etc.)
Key meetings included two press conferences and discussions with Prince Khalid
bin Faisal (Governor of Jeddah, Mecca and Medina & son of former King Faisal)
and with Prince Faisal bin Khalid (Governor of Abha and son of former King
Khalid). Both of them welcomed us with open arms and support our initiative.
As articles, television, and movies on Saudi Arabia flood our media, it is
important to highlight the international cooperation between their youth and
ours. We hope you will see the importance of this experience.
Please join us in building the bridge of humanity and peace education, one
student at a time.
